He was killed by militants in the Kupwara district of J&K. Now, it is very much possible that these militants were not Pakistanis, they could be just members of the Azadi Brigade of Kashmiri or could even be innocent children of village school headmaster.
Yes, Gurmehar Kaur is right- PAKISTAN DIDN'T ("might not have") killed her father.
But but.. This is exactly where our media failed us.
Mandeep Singh never got prime time shows dedicated to him, never was in the news and headlines of National newspapers for so many days.
The same media which portrays Burhan Wani as innocent and Gurmehar Kaur as a victim of right-wing trolls never made stories when her father became a victim of these militants.
Dear Gurmehar Kaur, India has never been at war with PAKISTAN. We merely respond to their attacks. If India was at war, Lahore would have been a part of India by now. These big mediahouses are supporting you only because you serve their narrative. You are just a pawn in their bloody game.
